LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR INCREASING WEAR RESISTANCE OF HEAVY-LOADED FRICTION PAIRS

چکیده
The proposed new lubricating composition, which significantly reduces the wear resistance of rails and wheels rolling stock during operation, prevents electrochemical corrosion friction pairs “wheel – rail” and, most importantly, stabilizes coefficient at optimum level after a relatively short operating time. experiments performed on pair “sample bandage material railway wheel sample rail material” ratio hardness (Rockwell hardness, HRC scale - 35.3) to 1,1. Test results show that in case industrial lubricant, BioRail brand, with addition nanomaterial lower metal three hours operation was practically not observed. Moreover, average value for had been maintained 0.25, is optimal rail”.

On the friction and wear performance of boric acid lubricant combinations in extended duration operations
Lubrication is critical for minimizing wear in mechanical systems that operate for extended time periods. Developing lubricants that can be used in engineering systems without replenishment – particularly those that are environmentally friendly – is very important for increasing the functional lifetime of mechanical components. In the present investigation, extended duration pin-on-disk experim...

This paper presents the scientific rationale for the use of a new generation of functionally graded nano-(L = 50-500 nm) based on the Al-N, Ti-N, Ti-C, Al-O and Mo-S nanolayers (l = 1-10nm) on steel to improve durability for operation in extreme operating conditions of parts and units of machines and mechanisms
متن کاملNanoscale friction and wear maps.
Friction and wear are part and parcel of all walks of life, and for interfaces that are in close or near contact, tribology and mechanics are supremely important. They can critically influence the efficient functioning of devices and components. Nanoscale friction force follows a complex nonlinear dependence on multiple, often interdependent, interfacial and material properties. Various studies...
